WHAT WERE THE NINTENDO EXECS THINKINGGGGGGGGGSeriously? I doubt that Meowth, even with his talking ability, has an IQ of more than 300, but for a super genius like Alakazam to only be able to speak its name is BS. Hell, even Shaymin was using telepathy in "Giratina and the Sky Warrior", despite not being a Psychic-type, yet I never saw any of that with an Alakazam in even one episode.
Aaaaaaaaaaand that's why Tessinda doesn't have an Alakazam in her party. Oh wait, that's not why; this is.
Before anyone asks:
1. I gave Azelf a line because I'm sure that its Psychic type practically gives it telepathy. I know it sounds stereotypical, but I think it makes sense.
2. Ruune didn't have the Subconscious Robe in this comic because it took place in the past, when Tessinda was considering adding an Alakazam to her party.

This wasn't the only thing I ragged (In Tessinda's case, raged) on Alakazam over; Alakazam also couldn't use most man-made items.

Really, I'd think it was even a little more obvious. Alakazam's a first-gen Pokemon, and there have been double-digit Pokemon movies made; certainly more than enough time to recognize this discrepancy. Each generation has a Pokedex entry stating that Alakazam's IQ is 5000. Hell, the Diamond Pokedex entry even says that its IQ is over 5000.
I wouldn't be surprised if someone did this comic before me. I'm a bit surprised that I beat Katie Tiedrich to the punch though.
