Description I am inordinately pleased with this guy. This is probably the most ridiculously complicated armoring scheme I've ever done. I would like to thank my McFarlane Spawn Samurai action figures for their help with this project...

This is a kiriban for . He wanted a Shogun Predator, which I took to mean a Killer from the most recent Predator and AvP series. However, I took it a step further and hunted up some actual samurai armor. It wasn't good enough. I had to go to my McFarlane action figures to get the kind of absurd detailing I really needed.

Ink and color comin' soon.

*sings merrily*

Everybody was kung-fu fighting;
Those cats were fast as lightning -
In fact it was a little bit frightning;
But they fought with expert timing...

McFarlane Toys owns absurd detailing.. ;D

i crave more action figures!
i wish McFarlane could do a run of Marvel heroes...

but... back to the art at hand! i can't wait to see this inked! i'd like to try a hand at coloring it also, if that's agreeable.

I pick them up at science fiction conventions; I gotta play with them before I buy them. *geek sign flashes neon-yellow*

Yes, you're always welcome to color my stuff.

Very cool. The simpler background really makes the feller stand out.

Thanks, Steve.

Yeah, after the insanity of the previous Predator drawing, I needed some resting space in the background of this one...

The action capture is much clearer.

Oh, definitely. The clarity in the busy action picture will have to come in during the inking phase. I hope.

Wow, that's really awesome! I love the shoulder piece on right arm. I think you outdone yourself on this one, I would imagine coloring gonna be a real time consuming. You're gonna color this guy?

Thanks! I'm glad you're pleased with him so far. Outdoing each previous Predator design is something I just end up doing for fun anyway; most of the fun of a drawing like this is in the details.

Yes, I'm planning to ink and color this guy.
