Tremorworks: Demongate High: Vessel
Project for ~phoenixsamurai

The Vessel is a mechanical creation used in the demon world to hold a captive human spirit and use it as a power source for its deadly combative abilities. It is made of a dark reddish metal called bloodiron, and it is etched with runes.

This was another one of those fairly difficult illustrations, where I had to work outside of my comfort zone. Grotesque creatures I can handle just fine, but robots and machines? I have to think in a whole different direction!

...Which is pretty funny considering how much of a Transformers fangeek I am.
