I haven't drawn these two together since last year

I was trying to make something for Shay's upcoming birthday, and I ended up with some angst instead Some mixed emotions behind this one that I think I'm finally getting some closure on - I won't go into details, but miracles happen, and they often happen when you least expect it

.......And no, Varian is not the one hurting her, I am - I project too much onto Shay, and it keeps her from growing as a character, methinks I promise I'll do my best to make something a bit more cheerful to celebrate 5 years of the baby
