This Tree of Life pendant was inspired by the Celtic Holiday, Imbolc! Imbolc is held on February 1st or 2nd, and celebrates the first new signs of spring growth and the gradual return of more hours of sunlight.

For this design, I've used Rainbow Moonstone beads to look like snow covering the tree branches, with some peridot stones intermingled among them to symbolize new green buds of growth coming through the snow =] The goddess in the middle is Brigid, who is the main deity of Imbolc (also known as "Brigid's Day"). She is holding fire in her hands to symbolize her role as a fire goddess, bringing warmth and light into the season. The word Imbolc, when translated in Irish Gaelic as Oimelc, means "ewe's milk," which is why I've placed two little lambs at Brigid's feet. The little lambs are made out of clay, and I've added white fuzz on them to make them look wooly! Enjoy everyone

Oxidized creations bear no protective coating or false coloring of wire. Just like a real tree grows and goes through different stages of life, this pendant will continue to tarnish and naturally change through the years.

The Tree of Life symbolizes spiritual growth and wisdom, strength, protection, and connectedness. It is a healthy model that inspires the spirit and encourages hope in all hearts.

These are delicate, wire wrapped pendants that should be handled with care. Some of the stones, glass, or shells used to create the tree can break if handled roughly.
