Description Inking! Also who ever gets tired of shire. There is probably a story behind this and the people who spend time with shire probably don't like it (or maybe they do, Fagan might, except for the mess on his carpets, he probably doesn't like that.)

Shire is my delightful phooka, he is older than he looks and he is somewhat . . . er, psychotic. But cute right? Very cute.

Nice! You don't see enough attention for Phookas! I love his fashion sense and his callico-like patterning.

You like his fashion sense because Shire doesn't dress himself. He wears his clothes very well, of course, but Fagan picks them out for him. Fagan is so picky.

I know about the calico! I picked the most ridiculous cat for him. He's so funny.

*laughs* Sounds like a good pair, really. I love chemistry like that~

I wouldn't say the /most/ ridiculous! A Maine Coon would be pretty funny. Or the unfortunate beast that is a Scottish Fold...! Brilliant job for capturing a really tough fur patterning, though~

It took me awhile to figure out his patterning but I've got it pretty set now. I always have to ref myself now, so I know what it is supposed to look like.

I'm bad for inconsistencies when I'm doodling my OCs at work and don't have my references to hand - especially for some of my pirates with all their tattoos and scars.

What are your OCs from? RP or yet-to-be-seen stories?

Shire was originally from some random sketch I did, then this joke I had with Hunter about how 'fabulous' he was, then he grew into this demented thing. I RP him sometimes, he is usually a bit more normal looking in RP but it does explain more of why he's a rather charmingly psychotic type person. A lot of the characters I draw I don't RP at all/or not very often and they just exist in their own stories/drawings.

I always like to know the little stories behind OCs, as I find them far more interesting than fanart 90% of the time. <3
I don't play my OCs as much as I would like and probably more often than I should...but I have a bad habit of drawing reference shots of them and then never drawing them again in most cases. It seems the ones I draw over and over are the ones from comics or novels that I never play with because they have set lives and stories that I don't feel right interfering with by throwing the 'chance' element of RP at them.

I love the randomness of RP with some of them. Some of them I don't rp at all. But I don't always use the RP stuff for the story stuff, it is just to muck about with them. Shire is very mucky really.

Yeah, I've certainly had RP that's just disconnected from their official plot - whether it's AU or just circumstantial testing-the-waters. I'd love to RP with you sometime!

Mine tends to be HP half the time since I am clearly a vastly mature individual who puts so much effort into finding original rp and then sighs that I can't find decent scifi. Norly.

I haven't gotten to do any sci-fi, honestly. The closest I've come is Steampunk-in-space with my Chronicles of Terrene world. However, I've got a couple sci-fi settings, in case you're interested?

I love scifi, don't get a lot of it, sadly. I've never really played much steampunk though I love the aesthetic.

I find Steampunk a bit easier to play because it has that fantasy element to it. I simply don't know enough about science and tech (I feel) to write convincing sci-fi without it dealing with mystical alien races or futuristic energy sources to wash a veneer over my ignorance. XD

Ahhh, I love science, I've been watching science fiction for . . . ever. Like Star Trek since I was little and all of that. IDK sometimes people fake it with sci fi, it really depends. I love the really sciency stuff but that is me.

Oh, I love sci-fi as an observer! Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who (if that counts), Hitchhiker's Guide and Red Dwarf (for the sillier factions), Babylon 5, Star Wars... I really enjoy Star Trek, but I've got to say, I've not seen any whole seasons - just bits and pieces from pretty much every incarnation of it. I always really appreciated the cultural diversity.

Dr. Who is still scifi, all of those are really. IDK you sound like you like sci fi plenty to me.

Oh, I really /enjoy/ scifi! I especially appreciate work I don't have a head or myself. The aesthetics and the technology of scifi is so far from how my brain works, it usually leaves me agog. Though, I'd have a blast coming up with alien species for a scifi setting!

Oh, I started reading a kid's book with illustrations called WondLa. His environments remind me a bit of your work, and I thought you might appreciate it, if you haven't already seen it.

This is so great. I love the ways you do faces and his legs. Of course the rest of the picture is equally amazing it's just that I'm drawing to faces and legs. xD
I love it. o3o
