Description Yes, the Star Wars bug bit me. And these are my Twi'lek girls. Let's see if their story fits in here.

Aengala (the purple one) is the daughter of a clan leader on Ryloth. As Twi'lek society is built around clans, this kinda makes her a priness, i guess. Anyhoo, her father was a rather cruel man, who was not a good ruler, and only showed affection for her. He was killed suddenly one day, and the murderer was never discovered, though his death was used by Aengala's brother Jare as an excuse to attack another clan and expand their territory. Jare became clan leader upon his death, and it is likely that he murdered his father to get into power. Terra (the green one) is one of Aengala's slaves, bought from Tatooine by her father and given to her as a gift. She and Aengala became fast friends and have been inseperable for a long time. Jare, having come into power, rules ruthlessly. The economy and quality of life has increased for many people under his rule, but he is only able to improve things by killing others who stand in his way. Both Aengala and Terra are oblivious, however, to his method of ruling by blood. He has also become obsessed with gaining more land, so as their story begins, he is trying to marry his sister off to another clan leader, S'raa Hiiru, in order to build an alliance. Aengala discovers this, and not wanting to be used, makes plans to escape with Terra. S'raa, who has been visiting their home in attempt to woo Aengala, finally comes to dinner one night and Jare demands that Aengala dance for him. Having no choice, she does so, and S'raa corners her after dinner and tries to have his way with her. She refuses to let him, and he decides to give up for now and leave, but not before giving her a rather expensive gift. She takes it reluctantly, and after he is gone she locks herself in her rooms. Later that evening, Terra discovers the gift and the two have an argument over it, ending in their confession of love for one another. Unbeknownst to them, however, is that Jare has been having one of his slaves spy on his sister, and he is soon alerted to their love. The next day, Aengala is summoned to him, and arrives to find him there with S'raa. They both know everything, and Jare tells Aengala that if she refuses to marry S'raa, Terra will be killed. As soon as he says this, his spy drags Terra into the room, holding a knife to her throat. Again having no choice, Aengala accepts, and arrangements are made for the marriage to occur in three days. After the ceremony, she is to travel back to his lands with him, where and even grander ceremony will be held in their honor. Terra is allowed to continue serving Aengala, though after the wedding, she will be forced to remain with Jare. The night before the wedding is to take place, Terra begs Aengala to reconsider escaping, but Aengala can see no hope. She tells Terra to do what Jare says and survive, cause she could not live knowing she had died for her. But despite her orders, Terra takes weapons to the ceremony, hiding them on her body. When an opportunity strikes, she attacks, wounding both S'raa and Jare and giving Aengala the opportunity to escape. She takes it, and they run off together to hide in the city. As soon as they can, they climb onto a trader's ship and stow away there, leaving the planet undetected. The ship lands them on Tatooine, where they live for a short time in disguise, saving money to go even further away. While there, they get news of the Rebel Alliance, and witness the cruelty of the Empire, and decide that they should join them and fight for peace as well. After a few years they manage to locate someone who can help them, and are taken on another ship to the rebels, where they begin to work for the destruction of the Empire.

(takes a breath* Okay. And that's them. Prepare to see them again in the future.
