Jinx and Wally may be DC Comic characters, but their pairing is show based, since in the comics, Jinx remains evil and is a Native American, whilst Wally leaves the team before the NTT era even ends.

I mean, it's no different than Al/Jas from Aladdin, were the roles reversed.

Aladdin: The street rat scraping to get by
Jasmine: The posh and well-cared-for princess living a life of luxury.
Jinx: A villainness living only on the bad side of the tracks, because she feels that she has no other place to turn, given how her powers work.
Kid Flash: A speedster whose optimistic outlook on life leads him down the path to the good life as a hero.
Just like Aladdin helps Jasmine see beyond her palace walls and Jasmine lets Aladdin see that all he needs is to be himself to capture her heart, Jinx shows Kid Flash how to fight to get what you want and Kid Flash, in turn, shows Jinx how becoming good can open doors to a happy future.

Honestly, given how loli-esque Carrol wrote the book, how the people portraying Alice and Hatter at the Disney parks are dating, and how the Burton alludes to it, I'd prefer Alice/Hatter over Alice with The White Rabbit.

The same for BB/Rae as either Beauty and the Beast (taken either literally, given their inner struggles [ [link] ] and figuratively, given their clashing personalities) or Princess and the Frog (seen as literal, given this TTG! moment [ [link] ]) *or* Rob/Star as akin to Eric and Ariel from The Little Mermaid (an alluring foreign princess with red hair from another world searching for something more and finding it in a mysteriously dark-haired human who does things for himself despite having servants dote on him [in this case, Grimsby and Alfred Pennyworth] and having—as per the sequel—a parentage that places high standards upon him [in this case, Eric’s family and both the father-figure of Bruce “The Batman” Wayne and late biological father, John Grayson of “The Flying Graysons”, a acrobatic family employed in a circus prior to the unfortunate incident that lead to Dick becoming The Caped Crusader’s ward]). Or I see that Disney and Warner influence each other (ex: the Titans are DC's answer to Marvel's X-Men).
