didn't want to go to bed tonight.Wanted to draw something for myself.
when I saw this scene on tv for the first time it brought me to tears. There's no doubt that this line shows the respect the Doctor has for the depth of wonder humans beens can hold when they doing their best. How much potiental greatness we possess.
I think the best part, for the doctor, is that people are giants, or being great, when they don't realize. I think that's why he cares for them so much.
Bah. It's 1:30am. Goodnight everyone :]

This piece just made me realize something: Whenever the Doctor gets upset at humans for doing something stupid (like almost destroying the planet or universe) it's not because he hates us or looks down on us. It's because he's upset that we are wasting our true potential -- or something like that...

I so loved Wilf. And the Doctor's comment about them looking like giants struck so close to home-here's a man who'd fought in two wars, lost his wife, had his only grandchild come back from traveling with the Doctor with no memory of it, and he STILL put his life on the line for what he knew was right.

The Doctor can come out with some inspiring things, one of the reasons i watch the show/read the older novels during the "break." Although i will say i was never much of a fan of 10, always liked 8, shame he had so little time.
