my friend's game(fantasy genesis which is what i was playing when i came up with this) is pretty nice to get my hands moving. i keep trying to do more to support it, but i do not work fast. i always want to redefine my style so it doesn't get too stale...

i'm kind of bad that way with drawing. i always want to get in a bit of personality that is hard to achieve without a human aspect...

this has definitely been the most popular. just the simple use of a few stock images for reference can make all the difference. wouldn't put it in a league with spider-ducks, but thank you for the thought.

thanks. i was trying on a style even more similar to chuck's with this one. i think i kept to my own style enough for it not to feel like i was mimicking him too closely at least.

thank you. if you have a minute and are interested in bizarre creatures check out . it's a group devoted to the game i created this drawing from. my friend chuck lukacs (a brilliant illustrator)put this book out as a sketching exercise and we started a group for people to post their work up. not too much up right now, but we're hoping to find more and plan on setting up challenges in the future for people without the book so they can participate as well.
