I'm not quite sure what this place is. It's in a village, looks a bit like wild terrain, has a magical atmosphere. Probably an ancient sacred place.Related content

I love how the sky through the door looks like a crystal, so that you'll definitely end up in the world your expecting... and the dreamer can expect something glorious, the artist, something beautiful, and anyone else just the other side of the hill-- even if their eyes all SEE the same thing

Why do I not live here?? It looks like you know some awesome places in germany. I'm going to be in Lehrte for a week and a half this summer. Any suggestions on where would be a cool place to visit? This is in the south, though, right?

Thanks! ...and yes this is in the south west, near the French and Luxembourg borders. Hmmm, around where you are going there are quite a few Naturpark areas which would probably be the best places to "explore". This particular place was on the edge of a village in a large forest which is part of the (relatively unknown) Naturpark Saar-HunsrΓΌck. I've always found that the less well known an area is, the more interesting it is.

This photo shows me a place that is both magical and sacred. The green and living growth pulls me right to the door. What an artist's eye you have!
