WOW. What a beauty she is, I love how you set up the shot. The sheets work wonderfully here and her perfectly even face is emphasized like that. The makeup does the rest, what wonderful eyes and the lipstick does fit nicely here. I plain love this shot...

Thank you for showing!

thanks... this shot was more of an after thought during the shoot.
Sometimes its those bursts of creative "something something" that just makes for a WOWZERIZED image.

Yup. I can relate to that, sometimes I am trying things for weeks on end and then in a totally awkward moment I know what I have to do to get the desired effect, usually I am very far from the drawing I am working on then. Do you take notes or do you rely on the ideas coming in the spur of the moment only?

Anyways you seem to know when to follow your instincts, that's the gift.

I like what you do - and I have always wondered what kind of person is creating all those book covers.

I sometimes jot down ideas. I have a post-it note pad,
and have post-it's here and there with a thought or an idea.

More often than not, the ideas come to me during a shoot.

Now for the covers, sometimes the ideas happen on the spur,
sometimes I set out to shoot exactly what the cover requires.
Usually when I set out to shoot something
I tend get other shots during the shoot that I like better than the original idea.

Its a tit for tat kind of thing. (pardon the pun) haha.

Thank you for sharing - I like the insights into other people's creative process, I think there is much to learn. I might set my old organizer into service again, that would be a way to adapt your post-it idea to my means and style. Definitely a good one!

I can see how you start doing one thing and end up with something better, sometimes it is same here - and I like the pun.
