Teasing, tantalization, promises of something more after your desires being torn away. It can be rather stressful, and yet at the same time, equally delightful. A moment that is preceded by a taste can make the imagination run wild with possibilities, and such anticipation can make that moment feel so much more wonderful than a sudden, unsolicited action. For many, that is a core part of bondage to begin with. Being tied in such a way means there is no choice but to wait, relying on one's partner to get them to the point of ecstasy that is so desired. In the case without physical restraints, however, it becomes a matter of trust. I myself have always been aggravated by those that tease me when I know there's no real substance behind it, and I don't mean the blushy kind of aggravated.

I portrayed much of this comic as Cynthia 'testing' Bucky to see if he could be her submissive, but in equal parts, she was gaining his trust as well, enough that she could get away with such a tease, making the little popplio desire more rather than feeling ambivalent or confused.
