A while back I got the idea to redo one of my very early images, sort of a comparison to see how much I've learned over the years. I always wanted to update the image I had of Medusa titled Drop Dead Gorgeous, and after seeing the previews for the new Clash of the Titans movie coming out soon, I got my but in gear.And in case you are wondering...yes, getting all those snakes on her head was as much a pain in the butt as it was last time, maybe even more so since I used more snakes this time.

when I do medusa...I use a "Ball o snakes" it makes it infinity easier to wrangle the snakes. if you pre-make it, it is easier to use.

Sorry its been a while, Ive had a work lot of on (3-4 jobs to make ends meet). The Medusa tatto was finished approximately 3 weeks ago. Although no color has been added (wanted to see how the shading looked once the skin had healed). If you drop me your e-mail address I can send the image on to you. Since Medusa appearing I have sinced had a vampiress tattoed on my shoulder blade which compliements her.

Simple awesome! "I used more snakes this time" is really a little bit humble: Count the Morphing-Pythons, every one consists of 60 bodyparts and everone must be posed and setted seperately... Must be a hell of a work!
