The shading is quite good, and the overall color palette is excellent.
The only gripe I can summon up is in relation to the shadows of the petals. I feel as though the shadows are too prominent and not diffused enough. I could see this sort of shading taking place if the potato were situated in a dark forest and there was just that one shaft of light. But if she's in an open area at all, the sources of light would be simply too numerous to not diffuse the light.
Anyway, I am damn impressed with your progress of late. When are you going to get back to me about your script?

Thanks man! Yeah I also had second thoughts about the petal shadows after posting this I think you're right about that. The direction of the light itself could also use work, I messed of the largest foreground petals direction of shadow. Hardly noticeable though.
As for your notes on my script, I definitely need to finish going through those notes. I haven't touched that project as of late because I have been depressed about my nub sauce skills and trying to better them. After painting this maybe it's time to pick that back up. There are definitely changes I want to make to the script without even reading your notes. Hindsight and all that jazz.
