Now how totally odd. I swear I had uploaded another aerial doodle earlier, but for some reason I couldn't find it anywhere. If any of you guys remembered it and could find it somehow, do tell me."Aerial Doodle" means I drew this thing up in the sky. Over the clouds. Literally. Because I doodled it...............while I'm on an airplane. You know how boring a flight is.
Shown here is my 2 main OC's, Rick and Leon (with his companion dragon) on an unnamed floating continent. You see how I did took straight reference from the clouds as seen from the window of my aircraft.......anyways. The city of Phallas, home of the Celestian race is in the background. Above them is the garden of Secra.
Look at how much I disclosed about "my world". I almost feel guilty for not drawing this world for such a long time....almost to the point of forgetting it. Still, it might be safer to just not talk about it at all, knowing the thieves out there, not to mention no one would care, either.....
Screw it. This is my doodle. Done by me. Characters, setting, world all belongs to me, too.

Leon seemed to grew a lot since you last drew him. He seems almost like Rick's age and height. (Maybe. Lol.) But damn dude!!! This doodle is quite something. Especially on an airplane.

Characters seem to age as I grow, too. When I was small, I kind of try to avoid facial hair, but now I start to draw in scruffy chins in my characters.
Sometimes I missed drawing him in the very chibi proportions like that mud wrestle pic I shown you before.
And Leon is just one age below Rick, which, again, matches you and your friend perfectly O.o In the story, he'd be 16 and Rick is 17.
And airplane means boredom and boredom gives the best drawing results. As long as there's no idiot kid spilling coffee from my back...

That's pretty interesting. I did the same with most of my characters.
I have to admit he looked very cute as a chibi. Lol.

Airplanes could be quite boring indeed. For me though, I don't think I could possibly draw anything decent on one because I prefer my room since practically all my creations are made there, plus I am on the ground as well so I don't have to worry about turbulences messing me up. ANd yes that little bastard is another factor to worry about as well. XD

The biggest factor against drawing on an airplane is my frequent airsickness, which left me feeling so shitty to even just play games.

I have a flight tomorrow for 7 hours.
And if I really go to SF it'd be for 12 hours. And if somehow I can go to Florida to meet you guys, that's another 6 hours.

Well, back then when it was really bad my parents would do all sorts of stuffs, giving me medicines, blowing on my ears, things on my nose or whatever but I had no memory of them actually helping. Now I'm just used to them.

If I can do "doodles" like that, I wouldn't need to worry about becoming an animator or graphic novel artist, because I'd be finishing drawing sets in minutes with quality *roll eyes

The only thing that doesn't make sense is their side walking and how they seem to be sticking onto that right slope, otherwise, the buildings are tilted. It does generate a good perspective effect and shows a great expansive space ahead of them, however when you look towards one side and switch to the other from below, the angle would appear confusing.
In fantasy art though, effects like this are often admired and this minor problem is commonly dismissed. To me, I don't particularly favor that angular effect on this drawing, but I wouldn't like seeing the effect completely disappearing... So my clearest critique would be that the angle is overdone and if the right side is tilted less (And the dragon can stay the same), it might work better imo.
I think doodles shouldn't (and doesn't) get critiques... And because this was a doodle, I rather just admire it, because it's simply - Epic.

(I've tried drawing stuff during flights before and the constant shaking from turbulence has convinced me....that I'll [personally] never be able to draw anything decent during a flight....

I think it might actually have to do with the route our airplane tends to fly... over the northern part of the Pacific Ocean but ah well...
I tend to pass out halfway through the flight anyway xD they turn off all the lights in the cabin and make you feel sleepy lol...

oh actually sleeping is still the best way to spend half of the flight. I only doodle in the first or last 1-2 hours.
