Description Like I got enough spare time left from my damn school, right now I'm hooked to this epic game...Wild Arms, 1st and 2nd edition. There're cookies for you if you know it~

And if you know it...yeah, it was a really old game...I played it first like 10 years ago, or more precisely my brother played it, I'm just watching XP

Then, lately, being stressed by school, having not enough time to draw, suddenly I felt nostalgic and remembered one of the most epic games I've ever watched when I was little...this one. Then I go dig the pile of old stuffs in my house and found the disc...

Too bad, my Playstation had been sold (cos i never played it ANW XP). But for some reason I just want to play it so badly, and finally I somehow found a playstation emulator. Installing it was a real pain in my butt, but finally I was able to play again...

Wheee, every second on the game just struck my with a wonderful feeling of nostalgia and epicness...

And like I haven't wasted enough time, now I'm trying to transcribe the epic theme song and try playing it on piano. lol XP

ANW, about the pic, it's just the main character for WA1-Rudy Roughknight and WA2-Ashley Winchester. And a really messy, cheap BG to match WA's wild western theme~

Well that's all. Wild Arms belongs to whoever made it, not me for sure.

Both games are on PSP as downloads. It's such a shame Wild Arms fell off the gaming radar. It was a stronger player in Playstation's early days (the line, not the console, though early days of the line would be the console I guess), but it ended up just fading. Hopefully being on the PSP will help bring it back. I know it sounds weird, but I'd kind of be interested to see it done as an action-shooter game like... like Metroid: Other M crossed with Mega Man Legends and Kingdom Hearts.

I know the XF is on PSP, but what's the other one?

I know. Wonderful graphics, themes, characters, stories....just the battles needs a bit more work...but doesn't mean it deserves less fame than things like FF.

I think they kinda make a shooting feel in WA4 onwards...

XF? Wild Arms 1 and 2 can be downloaded on PSP from the Playstation Network, it's awesome.

I dunno what made it fall off. Some things just fall off the map. There was even an anime which shows that it managed a significant popularity in Japan, and the anime was dubbed which means there was enough interest in North America for that to happen. I imagine lack of new content is what made it really fall off.

so, like, you can PLAY them on PSP? So PSP is like PS on your hands? OMG I never knew that!

XF is the new game which is made exclusively for PSP.

Lack of content? Welp...they shoulda asked us creative guys here for stories. And I'm gonna smack them if they ran out of CHARACTER DESIGN idea.

Looking at the history of Wild Arms, and seeing the last time a game was released, I think I know what happened to the series. I would say Media. Vision got struck by the Recession Hand. Yeah it's Japanese, but that recession was/is worldwide.

That would be my theory anyways.
