Well, once you start working for a client or under a direction, it will feel exactly like that.

Yeah, I say the same.
I actually didn't go for a career exactly along my hobby though, and it kind of makes out the opposite effect, but supposingly once you complete your course, perhaps the job is much more motivating.

Well I can't say anything about my future. What job did you take?

Net-Wanderer In reply to RadenWA [2012-01-30 17:58:38 +0000 UTC]
Well, I used to be an Architect student but I've left the course for a while now, and I'm still a student upgrading my English grade on literature studies for Technical Teaching instead.
Though, I'm now actually thinking of finishing the Architecture course first, then move on to that career. Things are just abit of a mess for me here.

Weird, architecture is supposedly good enough to get you a nice job.

Well, not sure if I'm just unlucky or if it's just me, I guess it could be me limiting only to an Assistant or CAD/Modelling Technician since I didn't complete the degree and left just before it. It is an incredibly good job (It's a 6 year course + 2 years office work to get the full qualification), but so far, employment in that career seems quite limited sometimes from what I see.
Well, it's been a long while now and I'm not with the course anymore. Things seems to had changed for me in around uni time and there's lots of things that made that specially when I decided to leave it.
Well, anyways, that's out of topic. I think things will turn out much greater and enjoyable for you once you get into the career, and doing the actual production work. It's a high commitment field, but nevertheless fun : )

Optimism means believing in good things.
Believing means faith.
