Oh boy so DA is having a contest with "Rad" in the name and it's about Racing which I guess is my cue because it's not like I have a heaping pile of biker OCs that I can dig up to finally use for something!

Like a knight stuck in the reality of modern life, Matthew Bernardini (Ben) races through the city streets against time and danger, safely, to deliver nourishment in the form of pizza to your doorstep, especially in these trying times! He may not be a formal racer (yet), but he does need to reach his (sometimes outrageous) destination on time because if the pizza arrives late, it will be free and therefore no payment for poor Ben. And he just can’t afford that, as he’s also racing against rent and bill every month! Truly, a model hero of low-wage workers.

His Trusty Steed, a sportsbike model DRC40 which is the most expensive thing he ever owns, is a very special bike....as it can talk!! Because as cool as it is being a lone rider, anyone still need a partner to talk to. And the guy just can't afford human interaction, so it's this bike who keeps him company with playful banter and jokes throughout his journeys. Yep, it's definitely not that he just imagines it talking because he’s going insane from loneliness and social anxiety. Haha, not at all!

As a Lucky Charm, he always carries his music player with which he'd listen to his favorite music while on his delivery trips. He also communicates to his bike best while the earphone's on! And that definitely doesn't represent him blocking out outside noise and reality so he can focus on his fantasy with his talking bike best friend. Where’d you even get that idea from??

He's also always ready to pull out his Special Tricks, a totally legit longsword that's definitely not just a piece of decorated metal scrap, or activate the "dragonbreath" flamethrower on his bike, to face whatever danger he may encounter in his delivery work. A giant slug? Cat invasion? A pack of hungry wolves? Or maybe just the endless onslaught of biker gangs who just want to help themselves to a free pizza. You’ll never know!
