Description
Well finally after, planning for literally almost a year... the cover of Itachi Gaiden.
This doujinshi, well, more like manga, will be done by me and epic, epic, epic, epic
We both have been planning this for a long time now because we love Itachi and we think he deserves more attention and we just need to put our rants in drawings to try and explain events of his life that will probably never be explained in canon.
This is only our view on Itachi's life. We may not agree on everything but we will probably upload chapters on our own as an alternate view of his character.
The cover was made by me. Chapter will be done by Shoko and we will rotate it like this. Next chapter I draw it and Shoko does the cover and so on...
As for the drawing itself, it is after the massacre... he is cleaning the blood of his family from his body. I would rant about all the details and meanings this have for me but I told you guys I'm into metaphors and mindfuck when it comes to Itachi, so you interpret it as you wish or else I will confuse you all.
Finally, my advice? Start putting your hands on your pants because the fap fest is about to begin.

I'm hugely impressed! I love the style but you really released the cover a bit early if a year later no pages have been made. O.O

is this cover supposed to be kind of religious as well? i mean in Shintoism, where Izanagi cleansed himself in the river and Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi and Susano were born. if not, it reminds me of teh story, i loves it

xD! well yeah not a lot of people know that Naruto is in fact based on the Shinto religion and Itachi happens to bring about most of the god-ness into the manga

Holy Shit! This cover really is good foreshadowing for what Itachi has really gone through in his life and I think no other character in the whole Naruto series deserves his story told then Itachi. Also, I love this idea of you drawing it. Your portrayl on what Itachi is really like will make the doujin feel more realistic then some of the other comics I have read about him. I shall wait until the day this doujin is born but until then you'll hear from me in the future fellow Itachi Lover...lol i am such a dork...
