I honestly loved "Between dark and dawn". I know that sounds cliche (for me), but the episode really was amazing. So amazing its my 2nd fav episode of the season so far.I am so happy (as im sure most fans are) that we got a another Celestia/Luna based episode
Yeh they were kinda toned-down from their royal-character stature to be more down-to-earth, but it was still pretty fun to watch. I know this episode provided enough material for Fan-art to last for years. I myself found alot of scenes i wanted to re-create. Time however had to limit my options.
anyway, again, Loved the episode. REALLY hope we get a few more like this one (over more established-character filler episodes) in the second half of the season

I very much so fancy the way you did their mane's and tail's. Very shiny and well, elegant~ And of course a fantastic representation of the episode too. I agree we need maybe one more Royal sisters' episode to settle their history and plot ark!(hopefully at least)

It all starts out with Celestia and Luna exhausted from doing all the royal duties last night but then one day they are invited to Twilight's place for some tea and pancakes but Celestia and Luna try to be awake for the get together but they are so tired that they fall asleep on their pancakes and hold some like a pillow.
Pinkie Pie: hmmm why are the princesses so tired all of a sudden?
Twilight: hmm I think it's because they are so overworked these days with their duties.
Rainbow Dash: yeah I know how that feels. having to control the weather while also doing wonderbolt related duties is quite exhausting. I could use a vacation too.
Fluttershy: (sigh) I wish I could take a vacation too....
