How do you render it ? You say it's rendered in XPS, but it doesn't look like rendered in xps....
are you rendering with another application?

I export several images from XPS which I put together in photoshop by blending and masking them. This is generally called composite rendering. With all these different images I can create more interesting shadows, rim lights etc etc. Photoshop also allow me to change the colors and lighting significantly (e.g color balance, levels and brightness). When it all comes together it looks quite different from your average XPS render.
