Description DO NOT REPOST MY ARTWORK WITHOUT PROPER CREDIT!

Yes, I recently got into Detroit: Become Human and Connor quickly became my favorite character. So, I had to draw him. Really enjoyed watching Jacksepticeye’s and Jerma’s gameplay of it. Wish I could have played and experienced the game blind myself, but I don’t own a PS4. So, what can you do?

Anyways, this honestly took me way longer to finish then I wanted, but it was definitely worth it in the end. Most of the time spend was on trying to get the shading right. Really need to stop being a perfectionist and find efficient ways to shade. Things won’t get done that this rate. Also for the background, I used a screenshot of a Josu Relax’s animated screensaver. I added just add the blue color as I thought it fitted Connor and the whole Cyberlife vibe. Especially, that I’m currently working on another drawing like this, but with Hank. Hopefully, it won’t take as long. My mind is pumping out more fanart ideas faster than I can draw them. lol

Hope you guys like it!

Here is my other Detroit: Become Human fan art featuring Hank:

Ooh, looks like you've certainly improved your shading! I love how textured it feels, too! I've found cel shading to be a great way to get a hang of shading and volume, you could try it out if you haven't already, it definitely teaches you to think in shapes more too.

Thank you! For the textured look, I first did the shading and then added a fabric texture on an another layer on top. From there, I changed the opacity and the layer mode to screen or overlay (one of the two I dont remember which one).

I’ve heard of cel shading before, but I will certainly try it out. And thanks for all of the recent critics and suggestions. I really appreciate it!

No problem! Love to help you out with what it's taken me a while to learn. And thank you for the tips on the textures!
