I am new to these kind of groups and haven't used DA in like a decade so apologies if something is not done right!

Spritzee is not in gen 9 so I used it's most recent move pool (gen 8) for Astor, and gen 9 move pool for Finley since it's Nymble's only option

Astor

Astor was born into a wealthy family of famous artisans. His father, a Wigglytuff, specialized in making stone sculptures, while his Aromatisse mother created paintings. His parents were often gone away to work for wealthy patrons, or were too engrossed in their work to pay Astor much mind. He was frequently left to his own devices while still expected to pick up an art trade. Astor, however, never had an interest in the arts. He instead spent much of his time alone in the family gardens, learning about plants while he daydreamed about leaving the confines of his home as an explorer.

He became interested in medicine, spurred on by his botanical studies. Rather than traveling to make art like his parents, Astor wished to become a traveling healer. His parents, however, were not exactly the most supportive. There had never been a doctor in the family, and they believed their son incapable of completing the studies. They continued to push Astor towards a trade instead, much to his frustration.

Knowing there to be many pokemon in need because of the Calamity, Astor chose to leave his home and pursue his own path as a healer. Sheltered his whole life and unprepared to be on his own, he stumbled into Lakeside lost and quite helpless. Carrying with him a bag of his affluent belongings, he was an easy target for pickpockets. It was then that he met Finley, who stopped a thief from taking the clueless Spritzee's bag. After learning they were both planning to join up with a guild, they decided to apply together, and have been solid friends since.

Due to his upbringing, Astor is socially stunted. He keeps to himself, murmuring under his breath, and may come off as weird to others. He can be a bit vain, and his patience may be thin for pokemon that are overbearing or obnoxious. Particularly annoying individuals may find themselves on the receiving end of one of his sassy remarks or insults. Although he likes to present himself as confident, he sometimes doubts himself and may need reassurance at times. Astor may be a little bit prickly, but he genuinely means well and wants to help other pokemon.

Finley

Species: Nymble

Gender: Female (she/her)

Age: Young Adult

Height: 11"

Notable Features: Darker blue coloration, slightly bulkier, and small spikes on front legs from Heracross genetics

Finley was born in a small, unmapped village. Her parents were both hunters and protectors for the town, and they taught her to value the importance of battle knowledge. When she was still a young child, the fields of her home suddenly went barren due to the Calamity. Starvation ensued, followed by an attack from a pack of turned-feral pokemon. Finley was out with her parents at the market when the attack began, trying to buy from the slim pickings that were left in the village. She was told to run and hide while her parents aided in the fight, and to wait until someone came to get her. She ran and hid inside a crate of apples as fighting broke out all around. Finley waited as the sounds of battle gradually became quiet, but no one came to get the small Nymble.

She slept overnight in her hiding spot, only to be awoken the next morning by an unfamiliar Golem dumping out the contents of the crate. He was with other pokemon, a bandit group that had come to raid the remnants of the destroyed village. Knowing her parents to likely be dead, the bandits took in Finley and decided to raise her amongst them.

Finley was trained in stealth, deception, and how to battle in unconventional ways. Her small and unassuming appearance made her great for committing petty theft. As she grew older, stealing and battling became a coping mechanism for the Nymble, and she grew to crave the adrenaline rush of fighting opponents much stronger than herself. She started to fight pokemon on the street, recklessly throwing herself into danger just for the thrill.

Crime, however, is not without risk. Finley witnessed many of her bandit family pay for their actions, and she didn't desire the same fate for herself. Once she became a young adult, she made the decision to break away from her life of thievery and start anew. She came to Lakeside, looking to start fresh and redeem herself by joining a guild. There, she would meet Astor. Knowing how to spot a thief, she witnessed the Spritzee being targeted for his bag. As her first good deed, she drove away the thief with a well-placed double kick to the face.

Finley is full of spunk and fighting spirit. She's always bouncing on her feet, and she loves the thrill of danger. This can land her into some trouble at times, and she can be rash. Finley is resilient, however, and always bounces back from hardships. Rough around the edges from her upbringing, she can be crude and perhaps unintentionally abrasive, but she genuinely wishes to better herself and help pokemon in need.
