Here is my buddy, Ilo, the pallid bat plush! He is life-size and adorable. Actually, Ilo is tattooed on my arm (that's another submission for another day). But I like to cuddle the plush form when he's not hangin out on my window.Related content

He sure is. Most of my work is handmade. My sewing machine has actually been broken for years, so he's hand-sewn to boot.

I absolutely adore this little guy! I am making some bat plushes for myself and my friends (probably going to do pallid and Honduran white bats), and I just had a quick question about the way you did the wings - is the wing membrane one layer of fabric, or two? I thought maybe I'd stitch two layers of fleece together for sturdiness, but one could probably work okay. How did you do it? And how's it holding up?
Ahh I also love the ears on this guy. Not sure how I'm going to do that either, to be honest. XD

Thank you. I think I put this in the artist comments, but Ilo is a pallid. I have a tattoo of him on my arm and will be adding a Honduran white and a grey long ear to the mix soon. Those are my top three favorites, so more power to ya. Anyway, one artist to another, the membrane is one layer sewn between the fingers. Check out my brown bat plush too. Same thing. It takes a long time, but the quality is worth it. The ears on Ilo have a Foamies interior which the fabric is glued to. You can sew through that stuff just fine, just be careful. On the brown I just used fur and fleece together and it stood just fine. Then again, those ears are significantly smaller.

You're so good with sculpting wings! I love him! Bats are adorable. We have a few colonies in Houston, and a smallish group (flock?) of them at our major park. They're really neat to watch in the evening. Unfortunately, there has been a rabies scare at the park in the near past. (Probably some kid or general idiot poking the bats...) I'm sad that so many species are endangered and prosecuted.

They are called a colony, just like a group of cats! Anyway, I adore bats. I have a bat tattoo, actually. I'll post that one day, too. But yes, it's sad that they are treated poorly now because of that. Bats aren't any more prone to rabies than anything else in the wild. But I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

I have it! So, Rivka and I have a lot of roleplay couples... and nearly all of them have a "tiny" animal version of themselves. Her badass dangerous-victorian-serial killer Jourdain, for instance, is also occasionally "tiny Jourdain wolf" and rather adorable.
One of the pairings we RP a lot is Rufus ShinRa (FF7, played by me) and Treize Khushrenada (Gundam wing, played by her) They are "tiny president fox" and "tiny lion" I've got pictures to show you of their "tiny" forms.. It would be awesome if you could make plushes of them for me! Tinylion is very simple... basically a ball of tawny fluff with eyes, ears, and a tail. Good for a single-ball tomato design, I think. It would be supercool if you could make tinyfox standing up.. with Rufus's coat, maybe? I have a picture, too. He's a white-version red fox.. so he has the black ear tips and black boots, but his fur is white. Blue eyes.

Shipping all depends on the box and company. I think I could figure it out to be like... five bucks, ten at the most. Those commissions sound lovely. I like the fox in the coat.
