Description
This is the re-submission of my "Arise, Rodimus Prime" Pic. I was kind of underwhelmed with my color work and attention to giving it the "finished" look, so I decided to make some changes. Notably, I gave prime the painterly touch, and then pretty much went all out with shadows and highlights throughout. I also added some motion blurs to a few areas to give it some extra push.Hope you enjoy.

You've captured the solemnity of the scene... The expression on Hot Rod's face, the weight he feels on his shoulders that comes with carrying on the torch for a fallen great hero's legacy... There is a bittersweet beauty about it. And one can see the wisdom of the Primes on his face when he becomes the more mature Rodimus. He holds in his hands the only hope in the universe...
I love the detail in this piece, especially the colors and lighting! I really like how you made the effects of the light/energy coming out of the Matrix of Leadership, and the ghostly image of Optimus Prime appearing from the energy of the Matrix. This is a wonderful homage to a pivotal moment in Transformers G1 history.

That was very much what I was going for when I was thinking through the piece! Thank you very much for the in depth comments. I love how you picked up on the stern more solemn expression on Rodimus's face after he's opened the matrix and ascended to being a prime. The mantle of leadership is heavy.
