Description
I had never painted before so I took a zoom class with the Prima Materia Art Institute in CA to learn some basics. This is my second painting ever. I sketched the outline of my dog from a photo and included lines where his fur changes colors on a 12x12 canvas. Then using acrylic paint diluted with water I painted the base layers of my dog (so the primary colors you see just very light/faded). The background is magenta mixed with gold and I used hard bristled brushes for everything.
