Since my school year has finally ended, I figured I would kick of my summer with a new little character from a game that took my interest by the horns. I hadn't even heard about Splatoon until about two months back and even then I wasn't too taken to it. Then Global Test fires launched and as soon as I saw that footage I was hooked. For reference, this little lady right here does not play into the normal Splatoon environment of Inkopolis' Booyah Base, rather a much harsher one known as The Basin. The Basin is where hope goes to die and turf wars are never just for sport, rather they are violent battles that are fought in order to gain territory. Designated colors rule certain areas of The Basin and crossing into one of their turfs is the death sentence. Many of the wandering, homeless, or unaffiliated inklings go as more obscure colors as not to get labeled or mistaken as enemy turf dwellers. Crimson, Black, Dark Green, Fuchsia, and Steel Blue are the colors to watch out for, some being much more dangerous then others. Some smaller units don't go by color coding and mark territory by using symbols, but many of them are wiped out if they make the wrong move.

| Ambitious | "Listen up and listen close, we don't have to be normal scrubs on the street... we could have our own turf! No more running to safety when entering someones turf, so what do ya say about teaming up?" Growing up in a rather poor family hasn't put its foot down on Pez, she has goals! All she really wants out of life is a nice sized turf, a team she can trust, a safe place to sleep, a signed poster by the Squid Sisters, and to watch the world burn and she is determined to achieve these goals. Giving up on the little things doesn't even set right with her and she will go to the end of the line with whatever she does.

| Perceptive |  "The world is never gonna care about you more then you will and people will always leave you, that being said don't shy away from caring about people and letting them into your life, even though you can get hurt." Pez is not an idiot by any means and is actually very intelligent, even though it may seem like shes a moron most of the time. Learning a lot from past mistakes and dangerous situations has given her insight on even the most obscure topics as well as some of the more sensitive ones. As a sniper, being perceptive is the best thing you can be and Pez really lucked out with this.

| Flirty | "I'm sorry, I don't think we've met. I wouldn't forget a pretty face like that... I admit that wasn't fresh, but it got that pretty face to look this way." Throughout her life, Pez has always been a huge attention seeker but once she hit the age of eight is when she was introduced to romance and it has gone downhill from there. Gender and sex don't matter to this girl when it comes to flirting as anyone has potential to her. Pez enjoys really cheesy pick up lines and will hit on just about anyone even if she isn't interested in them. She is also extremely affectionate and snuggley with people, mostly because she likes contact with others.

| Relaxed | "It never killed anyone to chill out for a bit, you have been checking the borders all morning and no one has shown up so sit down and take a chill pill." Why waste all your energy worrying about the time of day instead of the moment your living in now? Pez is more of a take things as they go rather then worrying about something months in advance. This does get her into trouble at times especially since she hasn't put much thought into her future other then some broad goals and can be quite lazy, but other times it helps team mates relax to see her not showing too much worry.

| Impersonal | "Why are you moping around? The reason that your relationship ended was clearly a miscommunication on your part so stop trying to blame the break up only on her." In a debate or argumentative scenario being impersonal is a godsend, but being impersonal even to the closest of friends can get irritating really fast. Pez has a hard time getting personally attached to someone as well as taking their feelings into account so counting on her to be on your side is a bit sketchy. Going to her for advice may not be the best idea since she will never tell anyone exactly what they want to hear.

| Invasive | "Hey, I know you told me to leave you alone and but I don't think that's going to happen... so why are you upset again?" Even though Pez is fairly respectful of other inklings, that doesn't mean she is respectful of their personal space. She always feels like she needs to know what everyone is doing and is not fully aware of how annoyingly nosy that is. Telling her off only works about fifty percent of the time, so be prepared for a barrage of questions involving your current mood and or personal life.

Background:
  Inkopolis may seem like an advanced, beautiful place full of fresh fashion and fun filled turf wars but it also has a darker side. In such a big city, the excess population has to go somewhere right? Pez was born into one of these excess families, living in the much dirtier and violent part part of the city known as The Basin. Her parents were hard working inklings, but they just got dealt the wrong hand. Around the age of five, Pez's mother left her father on unknown circumstances which left the poor inkling to raise Pez and her little brother Roz on his own. Pez and Roz got along about as well as the average sibling relationship goes, they scavenged for food and clothes, begged for money, and pick pocketed together almost as if they were attached at the hip. They did pick on each other though, it was all harmless up until things got bad.
After a night of questionably successful scavenging, Pez and Roz came home to a trashed apartment with no father to be seen. Looking through what was left of their father's room, they found letter after letter and document after document of compiled gambling debts stored in the closet. A loud bang at the door was all it took to get the siblings jumping out the window and running to the streets in fear, leaving behind what few belongings they had. They began their life as homeless shortly after, taking refuge in the rafters of a bridge. Life really didn't change much for them though, they did the same things they always did. The only thing that really changed though was travelling since police began cracking down on homeless kids like them. In order to evade police, Pez and Roz ended up taking turf routes since police tended to stay as far away as possible from them. This would prove to be a huge mistake that would split the two siblings up.
Crossing through Crimson territory in order to escape police one evening, the duo ran right into a turf war involving the Crimson and Steel Blue groups. Roz was able to blend better due to his lighter blue coloring but Pez was an easy target to spot for both groups. After reaching the edge of one of the turf's buildings, Pez and Roz were cornered by a Blue Steel inkling. He saw the duo but only pointed at Pez and said "Out" in a very dangerous tone. She hesitated, scared out of her wits by the dangerous looking inkling. He noticed the fear. Being unable to control their squid forms yet, Pez couldn't escape the vice grip the older inkling had on her throat. Roz was two years younger then Pez so he was powerless to watch as the older inkling threw his sister off the building before hauling him away, thinking that he was a lost young Blue Steel member. Landing hard on the ground, the night wasn't over for Pez as falling debris from the turf war came crashing down around her. One karmically aimed shard of glass was all it took for Pez to lose one of her eyes.
An older homeless inkling saw Pez and dragged her to safety, removing the butchered eye as best she could. Waking up, Pez knew her life had changed for good. The old inkling let her recover in her care and taught Pez everything she would need to know about being a wandering inkling. She even pointed Pez out to a life as a hired gun so that she wouldn't have to be poor all of her life. Pez was immensely grateful to the old inkling and once she was able to control her squid form she left as to not be a burden. Not knowing of her younger brothers fate, Pez puts what extra time and money she has into gathering as much info as she can on him. As of this day, Pez makes her living as a hired sniper for turf wars yet still lives on the streets. The kill streak she has is massive and she is wanted by Inkopolis police, but they have very little chance of actually finding her. Pez's current home at the moment is a space between crates on the higher shelves of an old warehouse.

Unit Members: Pez is always looking for teamates, so don't be shy if you want to ask her to take in your inkling.( Wink wink nudge nudge people. I would love for her to have some other peoples' inkling OCs be her teammates. If your little squid is willing to adapt to the Basin, then we should totally talk.)

Trivia: - Pez, like her name suggests, is addicted to the candy PEZ and will cross even the messiest of turf wars in order to get a dispenser.
        - She has been known to try anything at least once, whether she is fearless, stupid, or both is a mystery.
          - The piercings on her ears as well as her mechanical eye all show up in her squid form so in order to hide in ink she has to face down rather then up.
        - Over years of living in the bad part of Inkopolis Pez shows no fear in dangerous situations, but the one thing that scares her the most is seals. Seriously, fuck those guys.
        - Despite how flirty and affectionate she acts, Pez is actually quite scared of the idea of being in a relationship and messing it up.
        - Even though she is living on the streets and normally surrounded by messy environments, Pez hates getting her clothes dirty and washes them daily if possible.
        - Her mechanical eye changes colors according to mood, but it is most commonly seen as green, yellow, and turquoise.
        - For fun, Pez likes dancing and travelling around Inkopolis' many rooftops in order to sight-see, explore, and find a better place to live.
        - The scar on her arm was not a battle scar, rather it was from a bad fall into a dumpster. She still likes to tell other inklings that it was from battle in order to save face.
        - Even though she never really enjoys going over to the nicer parts of Inkopolis, Pez is a huge fan of the Squid Sisters and will go watch their studio from time to time like a little creep.
        - Pez has the same vile spirit that her teammate Kaori does, but out of the two Pez is certainly the less of two evils and wants to see the world burn just a little less.
