the most awful scan ever. since my scanner is so small (8.5x12), I have to make photocopies of the originals (11x14) and the copies come out slightly glossy, and then my scanner scans those copies like crap. :Cthe background looks 100x better in real life and the black outline is all crisp and nice in real life :C

i love these colors. what about scanning the actual piece twice and putting the two pieces together?

unfortunately my scanner has a lip on it, so I'd have to fold it and cut the edges to do it. :C

Being a hooper myself, I absolutely love this for more reasons than I can say. Your art is so beautiful! And.... I definitely want her hair...

the eyebrow and shading on the eye is graphite with marker over it : 3

And I know, man... I was going to go bubblegum pink this summer, but I went mandrin orange instead, and now I'm back to red. I think I'm going to do pink next summer or spring though ^_^

Ha yeah, mine is naturally black. Somehow it takes the red without bleach. Magic is the only explination... but my hair is really short (its almost like the girl in this piece, actually. a little shorter though...) so I figure even though I'm petrified of bleach I can make an exception for pink since it'll all be cut off pretty quickly lol
