I really hope you like it.
I tried my best to keep him in character, everything from that graceful gray hair he has to the thick brows. ^_^This character is part of the DOOR universe. If you want to know more about DOOR and this hottie, then you can start by reading Toilet Genie

If you're wondering why this style is a lot different from my previous work that's because this was done with *gasp* DA TABLET. O_O For those of you who already know me, you know waht a breakthrough that is to me. My lovely friend lend me her tablet at the beginning of the past semester. Unfortunately, I was really uncomfortable with it. >.< So I decided to practice on it during my break. This is my second attempt at using tablet. I had no idea how easy it is to blend now! O_o Seriously, all my hair strands were created by painstakingly by using the pen. Ask Erika, she saw me spend 4 hours on Seth's hair. She even wanted to make a Youtube video of my coloring process. >_>
All righty, enough talk. Hope I did Brighid justice Blix. And don't break your break while shoveling that snow. >.<

Aw, thank you! I'm so happy you love this. Above all, expression is important for me. I love making characters come to "life". I hope I do VooDoo baby justice in my visual interpretation of her.

Expression is so very important. Same thing in photos, and I see so many "dead faces" out there! I'd much rather invoke fear or passion or lust or something, anything in my photos instead of being so concerned with "Do I look pretty enough? Will people like me?" I mean, hey, if I come out looking beautiful, then woo hoo, it's a bonus. But I like intensity more than anything.
I am so excited to see how you render VooDoo Baby, and I'm sure you'll do her justice.

Well, it *was* crappy. My sketches of your characters never seem to come off right, at least I don't think they do. =__= But hey, I seem to recall *you* got my SethxBrighid drawing. XD
Regardless of my sad attempts at drawing your gorgeous characters I *do* plan to make new fanart of your characters, mainly Brighid.
BTW, will be updating my journal and posting the long belated Akon pics, including the cute one with the girl sporting your shirt. XD

Vidu is awesome. And I definitely want to draw him. But you're totally right about him being a hard character to get right. My type of style doesn't lend itself to his exaggerated features. Still, what a good challenge for me. If anything, I want to draw him just to see if I can successfully interpet someone else's style with mines and see if I can still manage to keep true to the character.

Wow, that's what Seth means? AWESOME. It so fits the profile i got for my OC. My Seth character is the resurrected form of Helene, the first werewolf created by Lucifer to hunt down escaped spirits and demons from the Underworld (hence, why werewolves have uncanny sight and smell). She was also Lucifer's appointed guardian until she fell in love with one of her targets and left Lucifer to reside on Earth with her lover. Nice to know Seth goes along with my background history. XD

I love how you made it dark but still have color. Very unique. The hand is amazing. My only thing is that I think the dark eyebrows is sort of funny with the dark hair, but if he dyed it that would be normal. Great job.

Well, the original character design Blix had contained dark brows. I probably should've darkened the hair. Still, I really like dark brows with light hair.
