Behold! A blast from the past: JEM!!!
I totally loved this chicka since I was a kid. I still have her doll. Unfortunately, because I had this *thing* about chewing the feet off my barbie dolls, my Jem's feet are all bitten up. ^_^; Mwuahahahaha.
Shoulda seen what I did to my poor Rainbow Brite doll! O_OI was a very disturbed child. e__e (Did I also mention that I used to eat ants?)
Anyway, I wanted to pay homage to a wonderful character I grew up with. I also wanted to give her logo a little bit of a modern update. Hope you guys enjoy! ^_^

Hahaha very nice with barbie doll feet. Fortunately, you are far from being alone on that one. I used to do that with all of my dolls ^^. But back to the art, love the pink.

haha, I did that too, only with my other dolls. My sister had a large Rainbow Brite doll and it'd stab her forehead with needles and markes. My own Rainbow Brite's head was torn straight off because I liked to bang things a lot as a kid.

Well, that in itself makes me incredible happy. Even if people don't know who Jem is, I wanted people to still love on its own work.
Jem was an 80s cartoon character who was the lead singer of the Holograms. It was a very funny, campy, and trendy cartoon.
Cool! Glad you love the logo. The original logo looked sorta like this, but was more curved and very, er, tacky? XD I updated it to give it some edge.

I grew up with 5 sisters and no brothers , so I know her...and many other things I shouldn't like you said, the Rainbow Brite, my litttle pony's, Strawberryshortcakes, Carebears, Barbies...yep, locked away in a hidden file in my brain

realized Barbie could Kill and eat the Joes cuz they were half her size
grabbed a Barbie, undressed her, buried her in the backyard
...and the rest as they say..is history
