Description
This is my vision of the Great city of Constantinopolis in the end of 6th century, capitol of the Byzantine empire. It was biggest and richest city in the world, and its still impressive to visit. This picture was done for the new game Attila total war, and I spend maybe too much time on it.Any comments welcomed.

A great view of The City from the Bosporus. (Or is it from the Harbor of Hormisdas?) This is the first illustration I've yet seen of the Hagia Sofia without the minarets - very appropriate for the late 500's. My compliments.

My God this is GOOD! You've outdone yourself with this one. The only nit to pick is the dromon in the foreground should have shipped her oars already. She's anchored, the oars would have been pulled in.

Two headed eagle was used during Komnenoi dynasty period, a very prosperous period for the empire, so it would be 12th century as well.
