Description
the raw inks of a new Spider-Man piece for my 2014 convention season. I normally ink everything in digital but at the time I had no computer. Fearing that I wouldnt get these done in time I made the call to pencil, ink and colour everything traditional using my micron pens and copic markers to finish the pieces. Luckily I was able to borrow a friends computer to colour, but the ones i inked came out pretty well. It was nice to ink traditionally again. it felt natural and let me be more creative with the line work and crosshatching. The buildings details were penciled with rulers and i went free hand with the inking to make it look natural. it was tedious but satisfying!
