There we go! This is my attempt of making a Mega Ariados, because he SURELY deserves one or a third evolution. His base stats are just sad.

And even if the drawing is done, I don't know which ability would be good for it, that and the stat boost.
But I think it probably could use some extra attack, defense and sp.defense to become some bulky spider. Speed clearly isn't something that Ariados has, so boosting it would be pointless.

As for abilities, a ability giving it the opportunity to attack first with poison-type moves would come pretty handy. That or changing normal-type moves into poison-type moves, granting it quite the deadly return. (But still leaning to the priority for poison-type moves as attacking first makes a huge difference sometimes)
