yeah, the gender discrepancy did annoy me a little in Spyro.

anyway, I agree that the lack of development was a problem: personally, I thought Spyro himself was the only character who really got any fleshing out, while Sparx is still mouthing off hours into the games, ay...

yea, spyro's personality was much more memorable to me. Sparx, even broke the forth wall in dotd saying something like, ''Voice keeps changing, but nothing I'm good.", it was pretty hilarious. It confused me a lot that they used so many voice actors for the other characters but Spyro's, it just kinda ruined the feeling of the other characters, idk. I'm not such a big fan of sxc either, it just kinda felt like just because spyro was a boy and cynder was a girl that they had to have some kind of romantic relationship, imo. so sorry about the late reply, been busy all day, aaa soo tired XD

the game's fun, if not a little short...I finished quite quick, but that may be just me.
the TLoS Spyro is probably my favourite incarnation of Spyro next to AHT Spyro, as I like how the audience kind of learns about the world along with him, and I admired how his personality can be seen changing (e.g. he's somewhat cocky in ANB but becomes more reserved in the darker TEN).
I agree that the voice actor shenanigans do detract from the other characters a lot, and I think their very brief and in some cases non-existent development made them quite forgettable.
ooh, don't get me started on the sxc or Spyder ship, I had a feeling that Mary Sue Cynder was set up to be Spyro's love interest from the start...

Me too! It was an extreme inspiration for me, and got me into Spyro. I enjoyed theΒ scenery and the artistic feeling to it. Yea, it was like you were in the game with him, I kinda wish you were able to explore the scenery a bit more. The only thing thatΒ irritates about the TLoS is it's toxic and combative fanbase. Like this one guy did a review on the game and didn't like it so much and his comment section was spammed with nasty stuff part of being, "kill yourself!11" for simply not liking the trilogy.

I'd love to play this, it makes me think of super princess peach (which I also want to play).Β I like the idea of a video game with levels that are made to be beautiful, whether it's a forest or a cave.Β It would be interesting I someone made a game that was so pretty you just have to stop and stare at the levels for hours on end.
