Alright, so I got this new program, Mischief (seriously, go check it out!)
It's actually quite brilliant ^u^ So yep, it pretty much limits my use of lines, so expect more lineless pieces x3

Alright, first DA critique, here it goes! Anatomy looks pretty good, but I do notice Light's back leg sticking out near her tail where I might think the tail would cover. Her look matches the title perfect, so high five for the vision and expression. I'd say her face and the square behind her is what draws me in the most, you really nailed that face. For a first attempt with a new program, this is really great! I'd try to make the lighting stand out a bit more as well as the shades. The squares edges should be a bit cleaner and maybe more symmetrical, but I'm sure you'll get the hang of the program soon enough. Maybe bend Light's amulet where it's not completely shown, like put it more at an angle like it's up against her chest. I really hope you do more like this, I think you've got a great style and technique in the making! ^^

Wow, Light! I really enjoy this piece for multiple reasons.
First off, You have improved so much from earlier this year to now, it's crazy. You've gotten better both anatomically and technique-wise (if that makes any sense,) and your animating has improved very much as well. I guess you could say you've grown in all directions since you first started with art.
Second, I really like the look of this. Not only does the character look great but the background really brings out some of the other features too. I love how it starts with a sunset orange color and sort of fades into the purple with the night-sky look with it.
Third, I love how you shaded it. It goes perfect with the rest of the drawing.
It was hard to think of things to critique you on to be honest, but I think I might have noticed some little things (I hope I don't sound rude e.deviantart.net/emoticons/a/a… " width="19" height="19" alt="
The tail looks a little skinny compared to her fur on other parts of her body. The top part of her back leg (I don't know how else to describe that part of her body |D ) looks a little small as well, but it really wasn't all that noticeable.

Anyway, I have to say, This is brilliant, Light.
Honestly, It has to be one of my favorites so far xD
The thing that really caught my eye was that tail...
The tail is absolutely beautiful~ As well as the eye. I love the way the eye looks, it's almost like semi-realistic.
Although, I love the way you did the background like that, the edges look at little too soft. xD
But other than that, Light, this is one of your most beautiful pieces of art work I've seen~

Beautiful O: One of your better drawings of Light in my opinion! I like the semi realistic appeal and the fact that you aren't using lines so much anymore. It looks more like a painting that professional painters do when you take away the lines. Definitely looks like you just drew it freehand with like no problems whats so ever ^^
