This is supposed to be a bit of a dipiction of the most recent chapter.
I just love how evil Dark looks!

Love DArks expression. The way he's leaning down, it looks like he's going to make like a vampire and suck Mephy's blood. Now THERE'S a disturbing picture. 
Also like his glowing eyes.
Mephy, meanwhile, looks both pissed and in pain. But, from the look on his face, he's not going down without a fight.
Never noticed how different their eyes are from each other until you drew this. Mephy's are lime and light red; Dark's are bright red and bright green.

Yeah, I figured the eye color's a big give off on who's who. When Dark possesses Mephy, Meph more or less looks like Dark.
After all, isn't the best bad guy for a hero the one that's their opposite... but also them in a twisted way? Dark's the Anti-Mephiles here.
Funny thing... when I find a song that matches up... I usually have already made the concept, and find out later that a song matches. I just downloaded the song after I was mostly done with chapter 16. It click so well, that I had to use the lyrics somehow
In fact, about 90% of Linkin Park's tracks are what I listen to when I wrote the series. Linkin Park just fits, y'know? And... I can see a few as either Shadow's or Mephy's themes... if there wasn't such a thing as (Rae puts her hands up to airquote) "Copyright Infringment"

I use any song I happen to like. If it mtches a characters personality or sitiation, I write the chapter. Likin Park is a biggie with me, but so is Simple Plan. So are a ton of others. It's a fun way to get isperation

Yeah, I also like Simple Plan. In fact, I like "Perfect" best... makes me think of my Mephy, y'know?
Music is what helps me to be a better writer... without it... the story wouldn't be as good, see...

It looks sort of like the scene from sonic '06 when mephiles just escaped from the scepter of darkness and took shadow's uhhh shadow (lol). Then he walks over sort of like a zombie to shadow and looks up to the side a bit, but in this scene its almost flipped because now Dark is in the place where Mephiles was and Mephiles is where Shadow was.. He looks a lot more malevolent (horray for big words) in this pic and i think this looks better.

I thought the irony of this would just be too funny to let it pass...
Besides, in my series, Dark was the one who did that anyway... and he seems to love repeating himself

After reading chapter 17 i got a bit creeped out because this is honestly getting a little eerie, ive noticed that things i think about come up like word for word in your stories sometimes, i remember one time in the story when Rae (or should i say you?) said that every percentage or chance answer could be said as 50-50 because in the end its just a yes or no answer which is something that i thought of like word for word before. In C:17 when dark suggests to mephiles that they just split apart that almost spooked me a little bit because i remember thinkg to my self "what if the just split mephiles and dark but they dont have enough chaos emeralds and the whole thing repeates where instead this time we get a nice dark and an evil mephie then a nice mephie again with a nice dark with an, uhhh dark-er i guess, in his mind" but then i thought "nah that would be a little convoluted (hooray for even MORE big wordz)". Im just wondering, is that where you were planning to take this because if it is now im actually really scared lol.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (i dont like spoilers lol) well i shouldnt be complaining i literally did ask for it so its my own fault *feels ashamed of self* but then again it was preety vague so its okay. I just cant seem to stay mad at you, lol. Hmmmmmm now let me think, oh i know, Intragnesent, Ostentatious, Discombobulated (hooray for even MOAR MOAR big wordzes). Oh and one last thing
