This is crazy, I like how the paint layered in the bg cause the girl to seem like shes emerging from some Holy place... walking away from the light. I also get this feeling of despare and sorrow from her.. it's reflected in her face and slow step.. not a lot of movement. Since the blue is mainly at the bottom I get a sense of balance from the work. Good job.

I love your style, the only the I would suggest is maybe more blue to the background around her face to make her pop from the background a little more. I like it either way though What kind of tools do you use to get those textures?

I love your loose gestural style. It is easy to picture you infront of the paper, with cavalier strokes, a frenzy of activity - pushing the buttery paint around.

I think, I will watch you - your styleis beautiful, and unique.

thank you for showing me what it is to own the canvas.

I've seen many of your head paintings, and have often wondered what a full body painting by you would look like. This confirms my guess that it would be excellently done! I just love your style. It's so artistic and "loose" in comparison to some of the other artists I've watched here for so long.

So refreshing!

I can't stop looking at it. I keep scrolling back up to the face again and again. Your style is so loose and painterly, and yet her face is so beautifully rendered. I love the thick, butter yellow background and the way it's scraped away to reveal blue. And I always like that you can see the pencil lines showing thru your work. Something about being able to see thru to the artist's process always catches my eye. I also really like her expression, the way you shifted the gaze off to the side instead of at the viewer. It looks uneasy, timid, and sulky, almost childish, especially with those almost pouting baby lips. I'm really glad I put you on my watch list, I'm not disapointed!

Wow, it's absolutely gorgeous! I just love the expression you portrayed, much better than the original. And the whole technique really adds to it. Great work!
