WHAT?!Between the cheerful smile, the mussed curled blonde hair, the ridiculous tartan vest over the comfortable white oxford shirt, the tweed khaki pants, the thin-gold-rimmed unassuming glasses, and the flaming sword, he looked like a self-contradiction and completely ridiculous. -Manchester Lost, Chapter 2
Oh, come on. There's no way I couldn't draw something that adorably awesome and awesomely adorable. Oh Aziraphale, I do love thee so dearly. Such a cute little derp-angel X3
The people I was skyping (is that a verb now?) with this afternoon and evening got a sneak preview of the FLAMESWORD OF POWAH. Unfortunately the scanner raped the colors, but just imagine it's vibrantly orange and shinyful. I ref'd the hilt (sort of) from some google image search - a Scottish mortuary sword? o.O But the blade is all mine. Yes, that's a hole in the top. I call it the Eye of the Needle - yanno, the thing a camel has to get through?
I'm extremely proud of the hair - I sketched and inked each strand individually, and it actually came out looking not entirely like a mop! Less proud of the colors - I accidently put a heck of a lot of yellow into his skin, tried to fix it, and eventually just decided to incorporate it into the flamesword-as-lightsource thing he's got going. The argyle sweatervest was referenced in the same way as the sword-hilt - Google images, stare at them for a while, make up your own thing.

Apparently somewhere in the book it implies that he might possibly be a bit chubby. Idek.

We never get a satisfactory description of Az but his hands are described as "pudgy" and there is an instance at the end when he gets his body back where it says that this body "unfortunately" jsut like hsi old one which implies that he might not be that attarctive I dunno though. I've always pictured him very slightly chubby but still cute. you know that sort of round angelic sort of look.

Yes, yes he would. If he were fighting his way out of Hell, I see Crowley in one of those bio-hazard suits (tailor fitted) behind him with a constantly full and pressurized Super Soaker full of Holy Water. And they bicker and joke the entire time.
