Manticore monster thingie.I'll probably color this sometime, but I like the sketch.

A manticore is a lion with a human face, and the tail of either a dragon or scorpion. Sometimes it has wings, sometimes it doesn't. It's a creature from Persian folklore.

I've never seen the show, but I'm confused as to why you would say brony(an older male set of MLP fans) haters would want little girls(a completely different set of MLP fans) to like things like my manticore. And why you would bring it up at ALL on my image comments in the first place.
I know many reasons why people would dislike bronies as a culture, but saying little girls should like 'scarier', less-pretty things has never been one I heard.

Brony started out as a term for a male fan. And also, I know plenty of MLP fans of either gender that would be offended at being termed a brony.

Nope, it was just mechanical pencil and then a bit of hue adjustment in Photoshop.

just something i noticed the manticore normally hass many spikes on its not one sometimes its tail looks like a morning star (a ball covered in spikes) otherwise i love the picture

Oh god, Manticore's scare me to death. I had a book of fantasy monsters when I was younger, and the Manticore picture always sent me running away in terror.

Ooh. Damn, I like this. Very nice detail on all the parts. The powerful armored sections of the tail, with the bone like stinger at the end. The thick wings, the hindquarters...And most importantly, the savage, merciless face.
