Description First off I want to apologize to those who were really loving the WIP when I had just Selene and the first few Hares done I really messed this one up. I just can't get rid of that habit of thinking I can do backgrounds, ha haaaa.

Anywho, pictured above is Her Majesty Herself, Selene. She and her family play a vital role in the the world that Maya and her comrades run around in. Selene is part of an established neutral monarchy that was founded centuries ago when time began. Yes they are immortal-esque creatures. Her family are also used as vessels whenever the God of this fictional world needs to show up and whoop ass. Hu hu hu.

Some of you Final Fantasy fans out there might recognize the hares in this piece as mosnters from the 12th game and...you're right. But they were so cute and fluffy I figured they'd be suitable creatures/pets for the royal family's location. WHATEV.

Everything but Selene and the two hares really stink, that's all I will say

Crits welcomed as always rly.

You have a way of drawing gorgeous, gorgeous girls. *-*
Pshhh, that background in NO way messes up this picture, I think it's rather a pretty way of supporting Selene and making it feel complete.

Your marker work is glorious! <3

Ooo! Very pretty! And I love the dress! You love the frilly goddess-dresses, huh? I'm always about the costumes, dearie.

But I do agree with on the walk path. It looks more like the edge of a retaining wall than a paved pathway. Also, the perspective on the fountain wall looks a bit...skewed. Like the vanishing point has been moved or something.

But all in all, very good!

That said, yes, what IS wrong with you if you think this came out terrible? YER A FREAK OF NATURE. D: I'd be happy with a background liek that. The only thing I'm not sure about is the blue art at the front, the reflections make me think its a pond but then the tileness and lack of depth makes me think its a path? A MAGICAL GLASS PATH. Anyway yeah I rly like that fountain and the grass and you're insane. The colours work vereh well, theres like a cool background that works well with the warmth of her colours. GREEK GODDESS XD Love her hair, so floweh. ithinkishouldgettodesigningherhubbyallreadyahahah*COFF* The creature things work well too Do they have a name? Get them one.

freak.

The hares have a variety of names in FF12 but if I were to name them for AD I'd call them...fluffyMcFluffsters.

I love the folds and the shading on her hair. You really did a great job... this is such a lovely and complete scene.

I think it came out very cute regardless. one does not need an elaborate background. Sometimes an elaborate background only detracts from the focus of the piece.

Thank you ;___; that means a lot. I agree, there needs to be a sensible balance depending on where your focus is

So long as you can get the eye to move in a somewhat circular motion over the page then the background has really done its job well. then after that the better it is only adds on brownie points and everyone loves brownies.
