Well this one happens to have a rather long story...
Yesterday I talked to Zorro about various ways to find the "perfect person" (one of which involved a lasso), and I was reminded of a "faeritale" story I wrote this summer. A ragdoll is beginning to fall apart, and because she doesn't know why she's alive, she doesn't know how to keep herself from falling to pieces. A tree (it's a faeritale; trees talk if I want them to) with leaves shaped like hearts tells her that "love is what makes us alive", and gives her two it's leaves. The ragdoll sews one onto herself, to keep from deteriorating further, and then the goes to look for love.
I'll spare you the middle, since this drawing is to illustrate the end.
So, the ragdoll's search leads her to a dollmaker's shop. She finds the dollmaker in a very bad mood, and he tells her it is because all day he makes dolls, but can never give them life. He shows her his favorite doll, a ragdoll much like herself (though I'm keeping It genderless for now). Having an idea, she takes second leaf that the tree gave her, and sews it onto the doll. Immediately, the doll comes to life. The dollmaker lets them leave together leave, being satisfied with just the fact that It was alive......and everyone lives happily ever after.

Or as my brother said: "I know that the perfect person is out there, I just haven't put them together yet."
