Aww. I wish we had thrift stores around here. We really don't...we used to have one I loved but then they closed down. Now it's all just the major stores like target and walmart.

True and most of the time it's cheaper on ebay except around this time (holiday time) then they raise all the prices and shipping costs.

Like anything else you need to know your prices. Ebay has great deals and big ripoffs. So it pays to take time and search well before buying.

Oh wow. Must be crazy. I know people tend to get like that around christmas time and stuff...I avoid the stores around christmas though. Shop online or go shopping christmas eve (that's my favorite time to shop)

I try to avoid the xmas rush altogether. I love the music and decorations, but I hate crowds. makes me nuts.

I love the music when it's played from December-Jan 2nd. Anymore than that and it's overkill. One of our radio stations here plays it from the middle of november to the end of january and it is all my mom ever listens to, drives me insane because it's the same version of the same songs over over over.

I love xmas music, though I can do without most of the other madness. But I agree they start it all way too soon. I hate that they have xmas stuff out already and it's not even Halloween yet.

I know. It's horrible and it's why you can't ever really enjoy a holiday anymore because it's so rushed and commercialized. I used to loooove the holidays because they were magical and special but now it's just tedious and work. and because it's so rushed, you don't even want to decorate anymore. I used to decorate for everything and decorate like crazy but now...by the time I'd get any decorations up, time for them to come down.

I have decided to make my tv room into a year round Halloween room. That way I never have to take any of it down. Hm, maybe I should do that for every room. Pick a holiday and decorate it.

O....M....G....I LOVE that idea! It's awesome. Each room is decorated for a certain holiday, then you can actually enjoy the decorations. It's...brilliant!
