Description Hello everyone! As promised, here's the Pikachu Pokedoll model I talked about in my last deviation. If you haven't seen it, I invite you to do so (rafaleluia.deviantart.com/art/… ). It's not a perfect build, since I'm still not that good at papercrafting, but I'm proud of the outcome. I hope you guys like it as well.

You can download the unlocked pdo by simply clicking the download button. I remind you it's my first unfolding, so it's probably not perfect nor as optimized it could be. But hey, if I could build it, I think you can do it too. The way it is right now, it stands at about 14~15cm and is a three-page model. I've also built it using 140 gsm white paper, which is pretty standard for a model this size. I have also added some weight to the bottom, otherwise it would'nt stay seated. Such a lazy model xD I started the build from the ears, then the head, the legs, the arms/hands, the body and the tail. I've only attached the head after the body was fully built. The tail can be glued the way you want. I did it like this because I liked it, but do the way you want. DON'T FORGET TO ADD WEIGHT BEFORE CLOSING IT! I added rice, but you can use coins, pebbles or anything that comes to your mind.

Since it's an unlocked pdo, fell free to edit it if you think you can improve. I just ask a feedback in return, so I can become better at unfolding. Also, if you build it, share the pic with me. I'd love to see this little fella spread all over the world. See you next time! Até a próxima!

Thank you very much ^^

I'm glad you liked it. I'm a big fan of your work. I dare say you're the best papercrafter I've seen so far.
I absolutelly love the way you finish your models, either by painting them or using paper pulp to make them more sturdy.
A real inspiration ^^

My pleasure!

Thanks for the compliment , but then I have to tell you that you need to know more papercrafters , just consider myself a fan of what I love  .
I've only used paper pulp in a few models, some are filled with clay and some just assembled with paper, but yes, I love to give them a better finish to each one of the models I do .
I'm not a complete papercrafter, I still have much to learn, like to design my own models. For now I assemble models designed only by other people and for now that's enough for me . But I'm very happy that my work inspires you .

hahaha
That may be true, but I'm still holding my opinion.

We always have something new to learn. That's why I already started creating models, though I'm not that good at building them myself. I want to learn a little bit of everything and make models that I really like. That's the main reason I'm making that Mario model and why I unfolded the Pikachu ^^

Hahaha Thanks a lot!

Yeah! There is always something new to learn, otherwise we would end up stuck .
But that Pikachu that you built is fantastic, and unfold is quite good!
Well, keep papercrafting!

Nice design! I'm glad to see another designer. Would you be interested in joining the Nintendo Papercraft forums?

Well, it's not my design, just my unfold. But I'm glad you liked it ^^
Of course I am! I just joined the group, but I'm not sure if it's the same thing. Should I do something to join it?

Hey! You building is not that bad you know, I don't see any white line! I already got him in my papercraft file.
And your unfolding is great, trust me.

I didn't say my building was bad, just that it wasn't perfect hahaha
But thanks, I really appreciate your feedback.

I've actually painted with markers all the paper side and some of the flaps to reduce the amount of white lines. I really hate them.
If you ever build it, I'd love to see it.

I will probably do it soon! Oh and I've never had the idea of putting rice in a model to make it stand, this a good idea!!
I actually put sand in them, especially when they're small but it is going away through the little holes of the building... XD

Oh really? I never used sand for that exact reason and I don't like using coins either. So, rice seemed a good solution.
And it's rather dense, so you don't need A LOT of rice to stabilize it. Glad I could give you an idea.
