When did you start cosplaying? Jan 2009
What was your first cosplay? Gwendolyn from Odin Sphere (It was terrible, I am going to completely redo it!)
How did you get into cosplay? My interest in anime led me into conventions and cosplay. I love it, it's so fun, crafty, social and rewarding!
Do you prefer cosplaying male or female characters? female, primarily because I have a very feminine shape that's hard to conceal . I am going to attempt it next year!
How many cosplays have you done? Eight. I'm not sure how I did all them in 12 months .
What are your favourite cosplays that you've done? Probably this one, and my Akita Neru costume!
Are you part of a cosplay group? If so, tell me about your group. I'm not part as a group with a name and member list as much as I am in a flexible community of cosplayers. I do have a couple of people that I normally cosplay with, but I love cosplaying with different people and experimenting a little!
What do you prefer to do, make or buy your costumes? oh make, definitely! I've bought two schoolgirl outfits, but I plan to buy no more!
How much time do you usually spend making a costume? I guess a month or two?
What is your dream cosplay? It's literally a dream for me- I'd love to make FFVII's Cloud as he is my favourite character of all time, but there's no way I could pull it off, because Cloud doesn't have birthing hips
Which conventions do you usually attend? Waicon and Perth Supanova (Go3 too but it doesn't really count )
Your most memorable cosplay experience? What makes it so memorable? I don't really have any in particular that stands out, but I do have a lot of great memories and want to continue having them! :3

These are the photos from the shoot I did with Eugene for the PAniC 2010 cosplay calendar! It was a lot of fun, as well as being my first 'proper' shoot! Eugene was a great sport for putting up with me! And thanks to Emily for 'spotting' me and making sure my costume wasn't stuffing up too much, as well as entertaining me and in general being lovely ♥

I only started cosplaying last year, and I'd say this costume is definitely a great stepping-stone for me- although obviously it's quite ametuer in its' execution, I'm still very proud of myself for managing to make it less than a year after my cosplay debut. Looking back on my first costume and then to my most recent ones makes me really exited for how I might improve in the future! Even now i'm making plans and deliberating things in my head.
