Description

So named "The Edge of World" because of it's location on the far west coast of the island state of Tasmania, Australia. The location inspired local poet Brian Inder to pen the following:

"I cast my pebble onto the shore of Eternity.
To be washed by the Ocean of time.
It has shape, form, and substance.
It is me.
One day I will be no more.
But my pebble will remain here.
On the shore of eternity
Mute witness from the aeons.
That today I came and stood
At the edge of the world."

Beautiful! Reminds me of Greek myths about the sirens, like The Odyssey!

Thank you for your very lovely comment, my sweet. This was indeed a very beautiful place to visit~ it was one of those glorious places that reminds you of how small you really are in the grand scheme of things.

ooo i love seeing a bit of photography from you! a welcome change!
You have set this shot up wonderfully, nice balance between the fore and background; with the vivid red/copper coloured rocks are set off by the serene blue sea. You’re completely drawn into the image in such a way that it makes you feel as tho you wish you were there sitting by rocks enjoying the view. I like that you have kept it to a simple edit nothing over the top, oh and btw I like the white border frames this image off really nicely im going to give it 9/10 (only coz its always good to aim to get better!)
