E.X.OCover for a little something I'm about to start on...
Basically I'm gonna make a few pages comic featuring this character: "Aria" and her mission on a former human colony, on a now alien bug infested exoplanet (hereby the title E.X.O, but also a reference to her Exo suit
).So basically I have no defined story, but I have a foundation and we'll see how it evolves.
the character is visually inspired.. if not even based on the awesome Samus Aran, but figuring I'd want to make a short comic I'm considering to alter the design slightly to go away from the Samus look and towards a more original design.
basically the helmet will be altered and here arsenal will also be featuring C.Q.C weapons... in example a electro powered hammer ax, with some boosting power... to get things done
Aria comes from hebrew with the meaning "Lioness", and italian "Air"... suiting here perfectly in the ways of being a fierce warrior and a swift easy on foot fighter (AIRBORNE!?JETPACK!?POSSIBILITIES!?ANYONE!?)
Anyway if you got any ideas you'd like to see in this comic, just keep 'em coming, always open for some additional extra features if they're interesting

Hmm, if you're looking for interesting mech designs, I do believe that google is the best recource, just search for power suit helmet, futuristic helmet, mecha head etc. You never really know when you find something amazing!

Never realized that, even the angle is pretty simillar to the cover... Wait... Damn you Crytek you stole my idea!
Thinking of it, Nomad had the same pose on the Crysis cover... Oh well.
Randomness aside, thanks for dropping by, and the Alcatraz reference is to me a compliment.... Especially as i've fallen in love with the Crysis 2 game and the Nanosuit, not that i wasn't fond of it before, but I even work on a Crysis 2 piece at the moment Oo

Dis character is looking badass. With all the nicks and dents, she looks even more cool.
I really really love armored characters/robots.

I myself too just love armored and robotic/cybernetic characters that's why I've got a whole horde of them.. Unfortunately most of them are to remain secret, as i plan on releasing stories trough a visual medium.. Either graphical novels, or traditional stop-mo animations!
The red is actually the black details in this piece, i turned it into more monochromic colors for the sake of the expression it makes.
However this character is undergoing lots of changes, to assure the best possible design I can come up with, also making a design suitable for a physical model/figure

Currently the plans have gone from graphical story to stop mo story, so I'm trying to work out a greater design and develope new never before seen awesomenes... Though that's hard as Wolfram Titanium! oO

Although it'll take a damned lot of time I'll graduadly release art, shots of the models: characters, weapons ships etc. , music and animation tests so that people can get an idea of what direction i'm going...
At least that's the plan

Right now I don't have the capacity to do the real thing before summer/fall, but I am planning an introductional story to set the basis of the universe it takes place in. The technology, the space exploration and the search for habitable or near habitable exo planets(and xenobiology both primitive and advanced)
As This is the greatest of my projects, the background story is pretty deep, ranging from the beginning of this century to the middle of the 22nd.
So hopefully it will be interesting for viewers.
But don't expect to see it before summer time, at earliest.

ahaha. Well I was thinking more or less media. Like if you were going for a regular sort of comic style (inking the lines, coloring in digitally), manga style (b&w w/tones), digital painting them, or what. lol

I see, well I guess it'd be more focus on the graphical part.
Rather than having defined lines/contours, I'd focusing on giving a more atmospheric and maybe realistic expression in this story... So maybe something in the way of concept art/speedpaintings if I manage to get it in that direction

I'll try to not dissapoint... Currently I'm working on alien bug concepts as i'm thinking of Aria's back story... I'll try to squeeze as much as i can in these pages, mysteries, action, atmosphere, originality, revelations... And the hardest thing... AWESOME!
