It's a semi-feral cat. My neighborhood is semi-abandoned as we were hit by a flash flood 2 years ago so lots of abandoned houses and unmown lawns. It's a whole ecosystem in itself now lol. Our public swimming pool is now a fish pond. There are frogs everywhere.

The semi-feral cats hunt and kill frogs, birds and other smaller animals for food. Aside from hunting they also get to have leftovers fed to them by our generous neighbor. If you were to ask me, this kitten will grow up just fine. It will grow up living the life a cat was meant to live.

Don't worry about them. They are living young, wild and free.

I almost got a shot the other day of a cat stalking like a lion while he was hunting bird. Didn't catch it though.
