Description
Ok, it's not even close, IMO, but after applying several filters to her (and a little face morphing to try and match his style), this is my poor attempt to emulate FDComics ' iconic style for the #ddwartswapchallenge .Β Lady-Quantum said it could be done, so I'll say now it's her turn.
If you are familiar with his style, he draws his characters then places them with a photo background which is what I did here. First I rendered a stylized Saucy with no background. Then in photoshop I applied several filters to give it more of a drawn feel (unfortunately the colored pencil filter didn't work because it didn't keep her skin tones uniform, but others did). Then I layered this filtered image onto a stock photo of a street scene.
Like I said, I don't feel it's close to his style, but I'll let you all be the judge. Oh, and Alicia Dudley aka Sorceress is FDComics ' OC, and she's married to my OC Sven Thorsen.

That is a ton of awesome, very nice work! Nailed the style conceptually!Β

Thanks. It was more more complicated than I imagined, but well worth it

Thank you. The next one was a lot of fun with all kinds of tongue-in-cheek

That's a pretty good attempt
The way the highlights have come out on the purple looks a lot like my colouring style
Looks cool

Thanks. That was something I was working towards. I knew I wouldn't get her face there, but I was trying for the color palette you use and shading. Glad you approve. Β

I went through a few with some trial and error. Funny thing was, the colored pencil filter wasn't even close.

The PS 'special effects' filters rarely do what you think they'd doΒ Β
