Description

         After landing in Estonia, Sven drove to the coast and visited the descendants of the mage who helped him imprison his sister. They looked more Nordic now than the Hebrew man he knew centuries ago. They were just as honorable and trustworthy as Ismael. A rare mortal he considered more than a friend. A man he considered a brother, and a death he took decades to overcome. A debt he could never repay to Ismael’s family. Despite this, when he arrived they greeted him with open arms and didn’t hesitate when he asked for their ship. They even joined him across the Baltic Sea to the shores of Finland. Once on the Finnish shore, he thanked them for the trip and wished them safe journey home across the sea.

         Donning his Jarl outfit, Sven trekked twenty miles along the shoreline to the secret cave leading to Felicity’s prison. It was hard to believe she was actually free considering she wouldn’t have any contacts or money to use in the modern world. If it was her, then using Lord Lard as the main point of contact suggested she’d be free much longer than he imagined. To learn the ways of the modern world and utilizing them took time. Time to learn. Time to accrue. Time to implement. And time to execute. Too much time in his opinion.

         He found the cave entrance lit which only proved someone found after all these centuries. Gripping his hammer tight, he proceeded further underground for several hundred meters until reaching the bridge to the ancient tomb. Swirling waters from the nearby sea rushed fifty feet beneath him as he stepped onto the stone arch. Halfway across, a familiar woman stood from the shadows wielding her favored circular blades crafted for her by their father. Felicity wore the familial face paint making her grimace even m ore fierce.

         “Time to settle the old debt, little brother.”
